よくある間違い①：until 節に未来形を使う
× She will not leave until the rain will stop.
時・条件を表す副詞節の中では、未来のことでも現在形を使います。
○ She will not leave until the rain stops.
よくある間違い②：until と by の混同
× You must finish this until Friday.
「〜までに（期限）」は by を使います。until は「〜までずっと」という継続を表します。
○ You must finish this by Friday.（金曜日までに終わらせなさい）
○ I will wait until Friday.（金曜日までずっと待つ）
よくある間違い③：not を入れ忘れる
× I knew the truth until she told me.
「彼女が教えてくれるまで知らなかった」なら、主節に not が必要です。not がないと「彼女が教えてくれるまで知っていた」という逆の意味になります。
○ I did not know the truth until she told me.
