相関接続詞は「not only / but also の直後の品詞」で A の形が決まる
not only A but also B は、not only の直後の品詞が A の形を決め、but also の直後が同じ形の B。直後が動詞なら B も動詞（文頭に Not only が来て倒置する形は、否定の倒置の回で扱います）。

A と B が同じ形かを検算する
A と B が同じ品詞でそろっているか確認します（片方が動詞、片方が名詞ならどこかで読み違え）。

Neither A nor B / Either A or B が主語のとき、動詞は原則 B（近い方）に一致します。
